for progressive farmers, at the 32nd KISAN Agri Show in Pune

Pune, March 21, 2022: Fasal, a company which has been bringing higher incomes to farmers through farm-specific crop intelligence, today announced that it has so far helped progressive horticulture farmers across India save upto 10 billion litres of water and achieve up to 30% increase in yields. Using Fasal’s technology system, farmers have been able to remove guesswork out of farming.

By equipping farmers with crop intelligence, Fasal has impacted 50,000+ acres of farm land across the country to reduce production risks and achieve higher yields and profitability. Since it was founded in 2018, Fasal’s real-time insights have helped farmers collectively save up to 10 billion litres of water (about 30-50% lower irrigation water use), achieve upto 15-30% reduction in pesticide costs and about 15-30% rise in yield — thereby empowering farmers to achieve predictable incomes. Through Fasal, farmers have been able to achieve upto 40% increase in their incomes.

Bengaluru-headquartered Fasal, which will be participating at the 32nd KISAN Agri Show in Pune from March 23-27, 2022 will showcase its newly-patented technology system Fasal Kranti and Fasal 3.0, which help farmers with real-time crop insights. The Fasal Kranti recently received a patent from the Indian Patent Office, making Fasal the first Indian company to offer patented precision farming system for horticulture farmers. The technology systems, which run on solar and battery power, are installed in horticulture farms. Through their sensors, the systems measure climatic condition, rainfall, soil moisture, soil temperature, wind direction, leaf wetness etc. Horticulture farmers are alerted on advisories via Fasal’s mobile app on their phones, giving a complete picture of their farms.

Fasal invites horticulture farmers, agriculture students and agri professionals to their stall no. 222 at KISAN Agri Show, Pune International Exhibition & Convention Centre from March 23-27, to witness their technology systems and understand how technology can help farmers achieve higher incomes.
